A.J. Gokcek of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory

A.J. Gokcek is Senior Advisor in the area of intellectual property at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory-Battelle. Prior to joining PNNL, Gokcek was Associate Director for IP at Auburn University from 2005-2011. He was a legal associate at an IP law firm in Silicon Valley from 2001-2004. Prior to law school, he worked for GE Nuclear Energy as a field engineer at various nuclear plants. A.J. has a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Santa Clara University. He received his law degree from the University of Arkansas, and an L.L.M. degree from the John Marshall School of Law in Chicago.

"Research to Commercialization" Seminars
The Microproducts Breakthrough Institute (MBI) and OSU's Office of Commercialization and Corporate Development (OCCD) are co-sponsors of this three-part seminar series entitled, “Research to Commercialization.” The series aims to connect researchers, both faculty and students, with information and access to resources, networks and facilities that are transforming innovative research at OSU into real-world products and services. Representatives from MBI and OCCD will be present to explain the role that each plays in the commercialization process, answer questions, and encourage further exchange.
